INTERNATIONAL RACE VEHICLES BEGIN TO ARRIVE IN JAMAICA

Caribbean Motor Racing Championship comes to town! May 20-21, 2017

Negril, Jamaica  May 9, 2017– Shipping containers with Motor vehicles from all over the Caribbean have started to arrive in the country. A total of 21 oversees vehicles will be competing along with the Jamaican team.

 

“More events like this is what the motorsports needs in Jamaica. The tourism economy in negril will also benefit hugely from this event as we have already received reports about rooms being fully booked

said Shyian Gordon (Director at Jamwest Motorsports and Adventure Park Ltd).

The Caribbean Motor racing championship series is hosted at four different countries throughout the year. Jamaica hosts the first leg each year. Racers travel to each event to gain points for their country to become champions with the help of the Seaboard Marine as the title sponsor who transships the vehicles.

Ten cars will be coming from Trinidad, Nine from Guyana, One from the Cayman Islands and one from Barbados.

The Seaboard Marine is a major player in sustaining the possibility of the CMRC.
