April 6, 2020 : Negril, Jamaica : Jamaica, and the world, continues to experience an unprecedented shock that has penetrated lives, economies and general day-to-day business opportunities as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.
Two weeks ago we made the decision to close our Park for two weeks and to review the situation as we all tried to keep healthy after Jamaica recorded its first imported cases of COVID-19. Since then Jamaica have recorded upwards of 55 cases of persons with COVID-19, tighter restrictions regarding gatherings (including public), social distancing and curfews have been implemented by the Government in an effort to contain and flatten our curve.
For this reason, we have taken the decision to continue to keep our Park closed until further notice in an effort to: assist in flatten the curve, safeguarding our team members and our valued customers.
Jamwest Motorsports & Adventure Park is mindful of your fears and concerns at this time and invites you to “Unite for Tourism” with us by taking advantage of our activated policy to reschedule all existing reservations to a future date. This complimentary rescheduling will also include any outstanding vouchers for activities at our Park. March 16, 2020 : Negril, Jamaica : As the world navigates the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, at Jamwest Motorsports & Adventure Park we have taken the decision to close our park for two (2) weeks as of Friday, March 20, 2020 at 5:00 PM.
We sincerely apologize to our friends and partners for any inconveniences this may cause and assure you that we will be staying abreast of developments and will make additional announcements regarding reopening or extension of closure as the situation unfolds.
As we support the work and awareness created to manage the spread of the COVID-19, our main focus is the health and welfare of our employees, guests and all affiliates.
We anticipate impacts on our industry, some of which are already being experienced.

Caribbean Motor Racing Championship comes to town! May 20-21, 2017
Negril, Jamaica May 9, 2017– Shipping containers with Motor vehicles from all over the Caribbean have started to arrive in the country. A total of 21 oversees vehicles will be competing along with the Jamaican team.
“More events like this is what the motorsports needs in Jamaica. The tourism economy in negril will also benefit hugely from this event as we have already received reports about rooms being fully booked”
said Shyian Gordon (Director at Jamwest Motorsports and Adventure Park Ltd).
The Caribbean Motor racing championship series is hosted at four different countries throughout the year. Jamaica hosts the first leg each year. Racers travel to each event to gain points for their country to become champions with the help of the Seaboard Marine as the title sponsor who transships the vehicles.
Ten cars will be coming from Trinidad, Nine from Guyana, One from the Cayman Islands and one from Barbados.
The Seaboard Marine is a major player in sustaining the possibility of the CMRC.
